Chief Garrett Grogan reports that the Patterson Police Department responded to 9 calls for service over the last 24 hours and made the following arrest:

Jeffery Slaughter, 61, New Iberia, La, was arrested on July 15, 2026, at 1:31pm, on the charges of switched license plate, no insurance, and driving under suspension. Slaughter was booked, processed, and released on a $934.00 fine.

Dan Roberson, Jr., 64, Patterson, La, was arrested on July 15, 2026, at 10:38pm, on a Patterson Police Department warrant for aggravated criminal damage to property and aggravated assault. Roberson was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
