Chief Garrett Grogan reports that the Patterson Police Department responded to 25 calls for service over the past 48 hours and reports the following arrests: 

Darius T. Declouette, 59, Dangerfield St., Patterson, was arrested on March 7, 2026, at 2:37pm on the charges of no motor vehicle inspection sticker and driving while license suspended/revoked/cancelled. Declouette was released on a summons.

Mitchell L. Yeager, 65, Rizzo St., Patterson, was arrested on March 7, 2026, at 8:15pm on a Patterson PD warrant for cruelty to animals and theft. Bail has not been set at this time.

Jonathan Diggs, 35, Hwy 182 W, Patterson, was arrested on March 8, 2026, at 12:52pm, on the charges of expired motor vehicle inspection sticker, expired license plate, driving while license suspended/revoked/cancelled, and no insurance. Diggs was released on a summons.

Melvin Rafael Rosales-Romero, 41, Williams St., Patterson, was arrested on March 8, 2026, at 6:59pm, on the charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense and no driver's license. Bail has not been set at this time.

Billy Joe Murphy, 42, Antoine St., Houma, was arrested on March 9, 2026, at 3:03am, on the charges of speeding, possession of schedule II drugs (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set at this time.
