Chief Garrett Grogan reports that the Patterson Police Department responded to 8 calls for service over the last 24 hours and made the following arrest: 

Kerry Washington, 64, Patterson, La, was arrested on May 5, 2026, at pm on a warrant for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office for failure to appear on the charge of simple burglary. Washington was booked, processed, and currently held on a $7,500.00 bond.
